I bought this bag as a replacement for a Targus bag that was too big for my HP Compaq NC4200. The Synergy bag cost the same price as the Targus but is made with a much higher quality of design, material and functionality. Its notebook compartment hugs my laptop securely and is amply padded with a squeeze latch strap. The Targus only had a velcro strap. All of the compartments have big beefy zippers which seem to be very sturdy. The number of compartments is ample and this pack holds all of my laptop gear yet seems to have a smaller profile/footprint than my previous bag. It sits on your back comfortably and the padding is designed to allow air flow between you and the pack. I would recommend this product to anyone with a laptop that is 15 inches or smaller.
