I'm surprised the specs listed are so sparse. I was looking for a Qflix specific writer and was comparing prices. I settled on the one from Pioneer and I think it was the right choice. The writing speed is quite fast. I use the Qflix format less than making regular dvds, but it does work too. Its a good choice for Qflix users, especially since the drive is good enough w/o the special format.
