Although this unit is classified as a clock radio it does not display the current time while the radio is on, and, it does not have battery back-up to retain previous settings should you encounter a power failure. However, it is a good 'all-in-one radio' well equipped with AM/FM/CD plus iPod adapter. A good choice for the price and performs as well as you can expect for a basic 25 watt unit. I would recommend it for any bedroom, kitchen, den or office.
