The D-Link 7-Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Hub allows you to connect up to seven USB peripherals or devices to your USB ready PC or Mac. Designed to provide quick and easy access, the hub provides seven type A downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals, devices or other USB hubs. A single type B upstream port is provided for connecting to the host computer, or another USB hub, enabling up to 127 devices to be connected by cascading multiple hubs. Supporting both low-speed (1.5 and 12 Mbps) and high-speed (480 Mbps) devices, each port creates a bridge between the peripheral and host computer. The DUB-H7 is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1 products and offers plug-and-play installation.

PNP unit with 7 ports and a low price tag. I had some problems getting it to work right with VIA mobo USB 1.1/2.0 ports, but finally got a Belkin driver that worked. Since then, I have added a USB PCI card and it works perfectly.
