Swivel arm steamer?
Review From: Peter, Nov 13, 2006
What gives? I received this as a gift bought from MACYs. This is the Cafe Roma from Breville and matches everything in the manual except one thing. The steamer is a swivel type, not an arm coming out of the side as the pictures suggest. Anyone else confused about this? I have tried sending email to breville from their site but mail just bounces. Not sure if this is a newer model not matched in the manual or if someone did some custom work on this and it was reconditioned or something.
Either way that feature is only found on their models priced 400 and up so if this is standard now that makes it a great buy. Otherwise this machine is great. Well compared to my old steamer Krups anyway. Love the fact I can just push a button and the espresso flows immediately. God forbid I am home no less then 2 hours at a time otherwise I am shooting shots all day. And once I get a call back from Breville as there was no "froth enhancer" attachment we will probably have the skinny on swivel vs fixed milk steamer assemblies.
