This is a very directional antenna. I am in LA, 35 miles from Mt Wilson. Almost all stations transmit from Mt. Wilson. I just received my Terk HDTVo. Opened it, sat on top of a box in my garage, I can receive all the channels. I bought the antenna for its compact size, knowing that it might not perform as well as a large Yagi antenna. But it is performing to its Blue rating even not installed outdoor yet.
