The Visioneer 9750 PDF Flatbed Scanner is designed for corporate users, who need a hi-speed and easy-to-use USB 2.0 scanner for creating a paperless office. With 1600x1200 dpi optical resolution and 48-bit internal color, the scanner captures fine details from your original documents. It features three OneTouch buttons that allow you to email, copy and scan. The built-in Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) holds up to 50 pages and scans up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) in 200 dpi black and white mode. The 9750 PDF scanner comes complete with Adobe Acrobat 5.0, ScanSoft PaperPort Deluxe 9.0, TextBridge OCR Pro 9.0 and Visioneer ArcSoft PhotoImpression 3.0. You can convert any document to Adobe PDF file format using the ScanSoft PaperPort Deluxe 9.0 software. It allows you to visually manage scanned photos and electronic documents, and provides thumbnails for popular electronic files with built-in viewers for PDF, Word, Excel, and Word Perfect. The SimpleSearch engine lets you locate documents based on content, title, keyword or annotations, and enables you to index scanned and electronic documents in the background. Use FormTyper to find fields in a scanned form, and fill them in. You can even email, print or fax completed forms with this utility. The scanner also includes Visioneer ArcSoft PhotoImpression 3.0 that lets you edit, retouch, and enhance images simply and quickly. The software lets you apply special effects with point-and-click interface, and includes numerous templates for cards and calendars.

I bought this scanner in order to
organise my office. To scan paper and
images. Installation was without a
hitch. A comprehensive software bundle
comes as standard. In use this is an
amazing piece of kit. It's possible to
customise the scan and where the output
goes to. It's fast, the quality is
very high and it's actually very quiet
in operation. It's certainly not
cheap - but I think it is worth every
penny. Highly recommended!
